Over the course of his environmental career, Dwayne Ziegler has advanced from an environmental field technician through project manager. While working full time, he earned his B.S. in Business Management from the Graziadio School of Business and Management at Pepperdine University in 2006. He brings his technical experience together with his business management skills to fulfill his current role as General Manager of The Reynolds Group. TRG works together with real property owners, real estate developers, legal counsel, risk managers and regulatory agencies to overcome the challenges associated with contaminated properties.
When the State Water Resources Control Board convened UST Cleanup Fund Task Force, Dwayne volunteered and participated in monthly meetings meant to help the Cleanup Fund management focus on better business practices, communication and outreach to other stakeholders. Realizing the limitations of implementing change from within the Fund as an organization, Dwayne joined CORE in order to enact changes from outside the program. In 2010, he was asked to sit on the Board of Directors and in 2011 was appointed President.
